heads and tails
this is how you get through the day. if you're bored
or depressed:
as soon as you wake up in the morning. flip a coin to decide if you're going to go do something amazing. make it be two things. like heads: do laundry. tails: write someone a letter. if it's heads? you're getting a chore done. and that is amazing. if it's tails? it'll totally make somebody's day when you actually write them a letter, hand written, typed, whatever through the actual mail. they'll be stoked! and maybe they'll send you something back. then by doing one of these things you might then get on a roll and start doing all sorts of stuff. you can make something, like a tin canned telephone line, you can walk to the closest stop sign to you from the place you live... stop, and then turn back around and start walking home. you can even write about it. maybe even just pick a word that describes what you saw and write that on something. anything. your wall. your t-shirt. your journal. whatever. just go do something fun.
then at the end of all this madness. write about your day all the way up to the part you start writing about it..
